Summary/Abstract: The central question of this paper is to what extent and in what way the social and human sciences in Serbia address the issue of armed violence committed by minors as a research question or topic. The subject of analysis includes numerous do-mestic independent studies that have investigated this issue from 2020 to 2024, present-ed chronologically. By examining these studies—their quantity, findings, and through the final analysis presented in this paper—it is possible to form a comprehensive pic-ture of the current state and to draw general conclusions about the benefits that the lay public, professionals, and the academic community in Serbia derive from domestic re-search in terms of understanding, preventing, and resolving the problem of adolescent armed violence. This, in turn, reflects the broader societal attitude toward the issue of juvenile armed crime and violence.
