Summary/Abstract: Learning in the Digital Age gives a potentially new and promising pedagogical approach for both integrating formal and informal learning using the Internet in higher education contexts. The purpose of this paper is to review some of the research that supports this claim, conceptualize the connection between the Internet and self-regulated learning, and provide a pedagogical framework for using the Internet to support student (self-regulated) learning. Implications for future research in this area are also provided.
