Summary/Abstract: The Land and Duties Register of the Strahov Monastery from 1410 is one of the most comprehensive economic documents of this diplomatic category in Bohemia from the period before the Hussite Wars. It has survived in two copies, the publication of which was lengthy and imperfect, since only the younger copy was published in the form of an edition that was later partially corrected and supplemented according to the older copy. The author provides an overview of previous scholarly literature, lists several cases where imperfect edition can lead to misinterpretation of the content, and concludes by expressing the necessity of a new modern edition, based on a comparison of both items and supplemented with a number of other inserted texts significant for the history of the monastery (foundation charter, series abbatum).
