Summary/Abstract: The idea of this research comes from an intuition regarding the propinquity of Emanuil Popdimitrov's poetry for children and his poetry for adults, particularly evident in his landscape lyrics. They seem to have a single source: the pictures of his birthplace sealed in his memory. In his poetry for adults, the "lens" of the secessionist-decorative landscape is placed before them and they are colored with the symbolist messages. In his poetry for children, they are stylized through the prism of a folk song. It is through them that the author fits into the movement of Bulgarian modernism "Native Art".
