Summary/Abstract: The article examines the topic of the children's vocabulary enrichment with abstract meaning words through their projection into a work of art and an animated film. The purpose of media pedagogy at preschool age for language development and the need for its special place in the educational process are shown. The three-stage model for the formation of feeling concepts as part of abstract nouns that do not name material objects is studied: recognition and naming of nouns denoting feelings; specifying the meaning of these concepts; their use in speech. The advantage of the media function in the enrichment, specification and activation of the children's vocabulary is proven, especially at preschool age, where visual-figurative thinking is the basis for understanding the surrounding world.
