Summary/Abstract: I had the pleasure of coordinating this issue of the journal Meridian Critic of “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, at the invitation of my colleague Daniela Petroșel, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Letters, to whom I am deeply grateful for her trust, but also because this gave me the pleasant surprise of discovering the variety of themes, applications, and authors identified by the contributors—topics well suited to the hermeneutic filter I proposed in the call for the volume. I had the idea of choosing as the theme a subject dear to me, one that has accompanied my research and studies from the very beginning: Literature as performance: from text direction to intertext. A theme broad enough to allow collaboration not only among experts in Romanian and world literature, but also to stimulate the interest of researchers and specialists in related fields: aesthetics, philosophy of culture, theatre, and other arts.
