Summary/Abstract: This study presents a previously unknown Roman inscription from the wider area of Zenica, which has been part of the museum’s Archaeological Collection and permanent exhibition for approximately a decade. As is often the case with such discoveries, the precise circumstances of its recovery remain unknown, as the donors (private individuals) declined to provide further details. It is a sepulchral monument erected by parents for their deceased children. The monument’s uniqueness lies in the mention of the rare personal name Patasius of Greek origin and in the very good technique of creating the inscription. The monument is dated to the third century CE.
