Summary/Abstract: The present issue of the journal Studii și Cercetări Juridice includes a thematic Dossier composed of studies devoted to the evolution of social law in Romania within the European context, as well as a research study based on empirical data examining the evolution of the relationship between aspirations and realities concerning the representation of women in political institutions. At the same time, with regard to thematic dossiers, this issue introduces a new element: the coordination and presentation of the thematic dossier through a distinct Argumentum written by a leading specialist in the respective field.
