Summary/Abstract: This article is an autoethnographic study of an individual’s experience in the face of two overlapping crises: the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The aim was to demonstrate how these events reorganized the interpretive frameworks of everyday life and the meaning that individuals attribute to them through autoethnographic narrative. The material consisted of diary entries from March to June 2022, analyzed autoethnographically, using Erving Goffman’s concept of interpretive frameworks. The research examines the relationship between individual experiences of threat, mourning, and crisis, and the social and cultural frameworks for making sense of them. The media framings of crises strongly permeate individual experiences, shaping emotions, practices, and corporeality, while everyday strategies can function as counter-frames that restore a sense of continuity.
