Letters from Vejsil Ćurčić to Ferdo Šišić (1926–1931)

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, eight letters written by the Bosnian-Herzegovinian archaeologist Vejsil Ćurčić to the Croatian historian Ferdo Šišić between 1926 and 1931 are presented. The letters are preserved in the Archives of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb, as part of Šišić’s personal collection. Preceding the texts of the letters is an introductory section that provides essential information about the correspondence itself, presents lesser-known details from Ćurčić’s biography, and offers an overview of the most significant works devoted to the two intellectuals who form the center of this study.
