Summary/Abstract: The article examines organizational commitment as a tool for achieving sustainable development in organizations. It focuses on clarifying the concept of organizational commitment and its effect as a key prerequisite for improving organizational performance, increasing the quality and productivity of labor, both in the public and private sectors. Qualitative methods are used - analysis of scientific literature and secondary data analysis, and the results aim to outline the main challenges and, above all, benefits of using commitment as a key factor for achieving efficiency in modern organizations.
