Accessibility in non-bank lending institutions – comments after the entry into force of the Polish Accessibility Act

Summary/Abstract: The Polish Accessibility Act entered into force on the June 28, 2025. On the basis of this regulation service providers are obligated to ensure that they design and provide services in accordance with accessibility requirements. Non-bank lending institutions are required to adapt their business and ensure compliance with this regulation with regard to other legal obligations that are present in consumer credit market. This situation creates numerous problems in both theory and practice.
