Summary/Abstract: Nathalie Becquart, a French theologian and religious sister, and the undersecretary of the Vatican’s Synod Secretariat, is the only woman who will have voting rights at the 2023 Synod of Bishops. On December 16 of last year, she sought to support the Church in Romania on the path of synodality through an online event. Earlier this week, at the conference of the Diocese of Sion (Sitten) in Switzerland, she delivered a lecture titled Synodality: The Path of Communal Conversion. The following passages are quoted from that lecture, based on a post published on the social media page of Vigilia, the Hungarian Catholic monthly.
