Summary/Abstract: Three years ago, in 2019, the Religion Research Institute was launched in Transylvania with the aim of contributing to what its very name suggests: the study of religion among Hungarians in Transylvania. On their website, they summarized the work of these three years in order to reflect on whether it had been much or little. Reviewing their report, we highlighted the topics most relevant to us and considered the range of possibilities and tasks for religious research in Transylvania. Among the projects of the Religion Research Institute, the most interesting—and the one shedding the most light on our everyday lives and religious practice—was the research examining the lived reality of the coronavirus pandemic and the analyses concerning denominational membership.
