Summary/Abstract: Ionel Teodoreanu, in his evocatively titled novel Noah's Ark, manages to capture the complexity of human relationships and the inner world, sketching a social chronicle that reveals the fragile human condition, but also the negative aspects of society. In this austere space, adolescence becomes synonymous with the aspiration for knowledge, with experiments of all kinds, and with finding one's own identity because, tormented by powerful inner contradictions, the young heroes want to discover the meaning of life.
