Summary/Abstract: Talent development represents a core component of talent management and significantly contributes to employee satisfaction and overall organizational success. This research aimed to examine the level of talent development activities in service enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to analyse their impact on employee satisfaction. The study was conducted on 101 companies using a Likert scale and surveys for managers and talented employees. The reliability of the measurement instruments was confirmed by high Cronbach’s alpha coefficients(α = 0.78 for development, α = 0.84 for satisfaction). The results show that talent development activities are, on average, highly developed, especially in small and medium-sized enterprises. Regression analysis confirmed that development activities significantly and positively influence employee satisfaction (β = 0.355,p < 0.001), indicating that investing in talent development is an organizational responsibility and a key strategy for enhancing employee satisfaction and loyalty. These findings offer valuable insights for improving HR practices inorganizations seeking to retain and motivate their talents.
