Summary/Abstract: Museums are a permanent source of knowledge and learning for children. This knowledge is materialized through the participation of children in educational activities organized within museums and through visits to permanent and temporary exhibitions. In this regard, at the Prahova County Museum of History and Archaeology, Ploiesti, various interactive, cultural- historical and creative activities are carried out during the school year, but also during the summer holidays. Thus, after the end of the school year, we offer children the opportunity to enjoy their free time in an engaging way by participating in various educational activities and creative workshops. Through these projects we offer children the opportunity to discover new things about Romanian history, traditions and art. All these activities are an opportunity for children to learn new things, to develop their imagination and creativity, as well as their social skills, and also to create unforgettable memories Such an activity of knowledge and learning through play, discovery and good cheer we have carried out during the summer vacation at the museum in the last three years (2022-2024). The project entitled “We play, we learn and we complete the puzzle” captivated and delighted the little ones. Through this project we guided the children on a fascinating journey through the history of Romania, and in the end, the knowledge acquired was tested through word games and riddles. This activity, designed with the aim of bringing children into contact with the museum heritage, was a memorable experience for the participants.
