Summary/Abstract: The article discusses research on the sentiment analysis of adverb–adjective collocations conducted with the use of the MultiEmo application, a multilingual tool for automatic sentiment analysis developed within the computational-linguistic work of the CLARIN-PL consortium. The aim of the study was to verify and expand existing knowledge about the sentiment analysis of selected adverbs and simple adverb–adjective groups. The research also assessed the applicability of the tool for automatic natural language processing. The findings demonstrated that automatic sentiment analysis can be successfully regarded as one of the linguistic research procedures serving practical purposes, including forensic linguistics. The analyses revealed a regularity whereby the sentiment of an adverb is inherited by the entire adverb–adjective group. In addition, four models of bigram construction were described, taking into account the combinations of adverbial and adjectival sentiment identified in the data.
