Summary/Abstract: This publication – “Nativity of Christ: Let’s Lift Our Spirit Higher Than the Dust on Our Shoes!” – is an interview in which an overview analysis of the past political and church events in Bulgaria in 2024 is made. This publication also represents a biographical portrait of the interviewee and author of this article regarding the beginning and development of his professional activities. The following topics were discussed: the theological content of the Nativity of Christ holiday is clarified, the processes surrounding the election of the new patriarch of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church are followed, and the dynamic political situation in Bulgaria is analyzed. Short psychological portraits of the deceased patriarch Neophyte (1945-2024) and the new Daniil (b. 1972) were also made.
