Summary/Abstract: This text – “Kurdish Independence in the Context of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict” – examines the origin and the develop-ment of the long-standing struggle of the Kurds, extending over the territories of several countries. In recent months of 2024, the Israeli-Palestinian standoff has become a catalyst for Turkish policy in the Middle East region, which the Kurdistan Worker’s Party has decided to take advantage of. The concrete actions by which Ankara is trying to achieve geopolitical elevation create the prerequisites for the PKK to activate its dormant functions.
