Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes how generative artificial intelligence transforms phishing and social engineering from manual, tactical techniques into an automated and scalable infrastructure for cognitive attacks. Through the integration of LLM models, automated OSINT and deepfake technologies, a new class of threats is formed, targeting not the technical, but the cognitive infrastructure of organizations. The study shows the transition from content manipulation to identity and authority manipulation, and argues that these processes undermine traditional models of cyber defense, requiring a rethinking of the notion of authenticity and trust in digital communication.
