Summary/Abstract: The article is a description of the theoretical assumptions and methodological solutions used in the method of shaping fluency of speech developed by Stanislaw Wilczewski. The profile of the author of the method is also recalled, and the history of its application, past and present, is discussed in an attempt to interpret the effectiveness of the interventions used in the method.
