Summary/Abstract: This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of parents’ experiences of young stuttering children who participated in the Palin Parent-Child Interaction (Palin PCI) therapy. A qualitative approach was used, involving semi-structured interviews with parents (n = 10), analysed through Reflexive Thematic Analysis following Braun and Clarke’s six-phase protocol. The results revealed three main themes that reflect the parents’ transformational process: “Parents and Child Before Therapy,” “Family in Therapy” and “Parents After Therapy.” The analysis showed that the therapy influenced parents’ perceptions of stuttering and their relationships with their children. It brought profound emotional, cognitive, and communicative changes within the family system. The participants pointed to increased knowledge and acceptance, improved family dynamics, strengthened marital bonds, and a shift toward a more conscious and harmonious lifestyle. These findings highlight the importance of involving parents in the therapeutic process and underscore the need to promote evidence-based interventions in speech and language therapy practice in Poland.
