Summary/Abstract: The essay delves into the prominent prosodic traits of both core and certain paradigmatic forms of adjectives in West-Serbian Ijekavian speeches. The conclusions are drawn on the basis of the demonstrated corpus and analytical viewpoints made. The prosodic perspective of the basic and proven paradigmatic forms of adjectives in West-Serbian Ijekavian speeches is shown to have a great number of interesting correlations, inter-typal overlaps, transference from one prosodic model to another, together with a certain number of distinct traits, accent traits which considerably divide not only the region analyzed, but a wider terrain of Herzegovian-Krajina dialect as well.
