Summary/Abstract: On 1 – 2 December 2022, the conference "Current State of Roma Studies III" took place with international participation at the University of Prešov. As the name suggests, this is the third year of the conference of the same name, the main organisers of which are the State Scientific Library in Prešov, the Documentation and Information Centre of Roma Culture (DICRK) in cooperation with the Institute of Social Sciences of the Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences from Košice and the Institute of Roma Studies of the University of Prešov in Prešov. After the two years when the conference was held online (due to the pandemic situation), this year's conference was held in a hybrid form – some of the presenters were present at the conference in person and some of them were present online. As in previous years, one of the main objectives of the conference this year was, among other things, to map the current scientific research activities focusing on Roma issues.
