Summary/Abstract: This study aims to comparatively examine the educational approaches, institutional identity, and the ideal of student formation at Galatasarayı High School through Suat Aray’s Bir Galatasaraylının Hatıraları and Ahmed Yüksel Özemre’s Galatasarayı Mekteb-i Sultanîsi’nde Sekiz Yılım. Memoir books have been evaluated as narratives carrying the quality of historical documents, and the pedagogical approaches, social atmosphere, and value transmission of the period have been analyzed through the lens of invidiual memory. In the study, the document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was employed. The findings reveal that Galatasarayı High School was not only an academic educational institution but also a cultural space that played a significant role in shaping personality and identity.
