On the 90th anniversary of Igor Stepanovich Ulukhanov, the first chairman of the commission on Slavic word formation at the International Scientific Council

Summary/Abstract: The year 2025 marks the anniversary of the Commission on Slavic Word-Formation of the International Committee of Slavists and its first chairman, Professor Igor Stepanovich Ulukhanov, a distinguished Russian scholar whose works are known to Slavists in many countries around the world. The Commission on Slavic Word-Formation was established in 1994 by a decision of the XXVIII Plenum of the International Committee of Slavists (Italy, Urbino, October 21, 1994), but its formation was completed only at the end of 1995.
