Summary/Abstract: This paper will present research on legal terms in contemporary dictionaries of the Bosnian language: in the Dictionary of the Bosnian Language (Čedić et al. 2007), the Dictionary of the Bosnian Language (Halilović – Palić – Šehović 2010), and the Dictionary of the Bosnian Language (Jahić 2010–2024). The normative status of individual such words, their meanings, and synonyms were the focus of attention, and about a hundred words used in legal texts received such treatment. Special attention was given to issues related to determining legal concepts and terms in dictionaries, the standardization of certain forms, and the formation of morphological pairs, all with the aim of highlighting a path toward standardizing legal terminology in the Bosnian language.
