Summary/Abstract: The efficient protection of environmental components depends, to a large extent, on the quality of legal norms in the field, but also on their capacity to collaborate with other norms that could help, through their own mechanisms, to achieve the common mission. This objective is also valid for forest resources, given that, by their nature and economic destination, they target a wide range of utilities, and as a consequence, they become vulnerable to various attacks on their integrity and the functions they perform for the environment and the person. The given context, moreover, also imposes the need to involve several areas of law in covering with legal norms different categories of behaviors that can directly or indirectly affect forest resources.
