Summary/Abstract: Innovation and technology adoption have become central drivers of global competitiveness and productivity, transforming how nations stimulate growth and sustain entrepreneurial ecosystems. In both advanced and emerging economies, digitalisation and technological capability are redefining the boundaries of entrepreneurship and reshaping organisational strategies. This article examines the role of technology in advancing entrepreneurial competitiveness across the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) through a systematic review of scholarly literature. The analysis integrates empirical and theoretical perspectives to explore how innovation policies, digital transformation, and institutional capacity contribute to entrepreneurial performance. The findings reveal that technological advancement has reconfigured business models, enhanced operational efficiency, and fostered innovation-driven competitiveness. Furthermore, the review highlights the importance of coordinated policy frameworks, robust digital infrastructure, and human capital development in enabling sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems. The study concludes that continuous collaboration between governments, academia, and industry is essential to harness technology’s transformative potential and position BRICS economies as engines of innovation-led growth. This research contributes to global debates on technology-driven entrepreneurship by offering a comparative understanding of how emerging economies leverage innovation to achieve sustainable development.
