Summary/Abstract: Presentation of the on-screen image of the famous Polish missionary in India, Father Marian Żelazek (1918-2006). Analysis of Polish documentary films devoted to him, especially pictures made by Anna Pietraszek, from the perspective of the theology of communication and media. Showing the heroic work of a missionary who not only heals bodies, but also souls and is a faithful follower of the merciful Christ. Presenting the biography of Father Żelazek as a realized ideal of obedience to God’s will and imitation of Christ.
