Summary/Abstract: The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is contributing to transformations and changes in the educational process, including the paradigm in which academic communication in universities has functioned so far. It is hypothesized that artificial intelligence through its manifestations - chatbots, applications, software, online platforms, etc. - creates opportunities to introduce new methods in teaching, assessment, creation and dissemination of educational resources on a team basis in collaboration between representatives of academic communities, university administration, and business organizations. There are a number to aspects to consider in this regard. On the one hand, there are concerns that critical thinking and creativity diminish when chatbots are used and the processes of writing and editing scientific texts are automated. On the other hand, the advantages of quick and easy access to educational resources and democratization of access to academic knowledge are recognized. In the third place, questions are asked in terms of ethics, copyright, the exchange of educational products, the results of analyses and research at institutional, national and supranational levels. In the fourth place, predictions are made to emphasize personalized learning, to optimize learning processes in universities through the introduction of technology and software and hence to new methods in academic communication.
