Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of textile microfibers on the environment and to outline directions for future scientific research. The study found that textile microfibers have a negative impact on the environment. Based on the results obtained and future scientific research in various directions, strategies can be developed and implemented to minimize the harmful impact of textile microfibers on the environment
