Summary/Abstract: Professor Ștefan Andreescu (12 June 1947 – 28 November 2024) has stepped into the Heavenly Kingdom, a researcher at the “N. Iorga” Institute of History in Bucharest and one of the most important Romanian historians. Professor Ștefan Andreescu was a medievalist in the deepest and broadest sense of the word, following in the footsteps of N. Iorga, Gheorghe Brătianu, and Șerban Papacostea in the way he thought and wrote the history of the Romanians.
