DEVELOPMENT OF ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION ELECTRONICALLY

Summary/Abstract: This paper is an overview of the amendments and additions to the Access to Public Information Act, which are in force since September 2023, and which ensure the mandatory use of the platform for access to public information, regulated in the same regulatory act. The expanded scope of the obligated entities and the introduced presumption for publication on the platform for access to public information in applications for access to public information submitted through it have been examined. The analysis of the adopted legislation emphasizes the new obligations on the part of public sector organizations to also publish on the platform applications, decisions and public information received through other means.
