Summary/Abstract: Through this article, I would like to present the importance that Queen Marie had for the Bran region and for its inhabitants, as well as the role of the Bran National Museum, which took over the baton from its queen and continued to make known romanian folk art, its values and traditions, even abroad. By capitalizing on the royal and ethnographic cultural heritage, the Bran National Museum has managed to honor the memory of Queen Marie, but also to keep alive the authentic traditions and specific crafts of Bran. This article wishes to show its appreciation for all the hard work done by the Bran National Museum staff to keep intact the cultural heritage of the country under its patronage, which not long ago represented a key point in the romanian tourism and which deserves to be restored to its proper place.
