Summary/Abstract: Today, research communication practices have changed considerably with the emergence of new digital genres and academic social networks that require multimodal skills and effective communication strategies. In this article, we propose to examine digital research dissemination practices in the Romanian context, as they appear through a survey conducted within the international DILAN (Digital Language and Communication Resources for EU Scientists) project. Here, we present the results of the survey concerning STEM and non-STEM researchers from Ovidius University of Constanta. The objective is, on the one hand, to identify the forms of dissemination of research results (more recent digital forms, such as video summaries, graphical summaries, podcasts, videocasts, infographics, compared to more traditional forms, such as research articles and peer-reviewed publications) and, on the other hand, to identify the languages and media used by researchers to share their research The results allow us to analyze the attitudes and perceptions of the researchers interviewed with regard to these new genres and their implementation in their own dissemination practices as well as their needs in terms of developing digital and communication skills.
