Summary/Abstract: The paper provides a translation of the Ottoman census of the vlachs of the nahiye of Zagrlata from 1528. This nahiye was organised from the villages inhabited by vlachs in the territory of the nahiyes of Kruševac, Koznik, Bovan and Prokuplje in the Sancak of Kruševac (Alacahisar). During the Middle Ages, the presence of vlachs – Vlachs of Šiljegovci in the župa of Zagrlata – is recorded only in the charter of the Monastery of the Presentation of the Holy Virgin Mary in Drenča from 1382.
