Summary/Abstract: The study investigated cyber loafing and employee’s satisfaction in some selected group of schools in Lagos State. The specific objectives of this study were to: investigate the relationship between cyber loafing and employee’s satisfaction. The population of the study consisted of 193 employee, and the sample size was 130 employee of the targeted total population. The study adopted a convenience sampling technique. And a total of 130 copies of the questionnaire were distributed while a sum total of 115 copies of the questionnaire were retrieved from respondents for data analysis. The 5-items measuring instruments were tested with the aid of test-retest reliability by firstly administering the test once and then administering the same test again four weeks after the initial administration. The hypothesis formulated for the study was analysed using Pearson Correlation Statistical Analysis method. Furthermore, the study showed that there was significant positive relationship between cyber loafing and employee’s satisfaction. Moreover, the Pearson correlation coefficient between cyber loafing and employee’s satisfaction was 0.635, which showed a strong positive relationship between the two variables. The study concluded that there was a significant relationship between cyber loafing and employee’s satisfaction. In addition, the study extensively discussed cyber loafing behavior and its relationship with employee satisfaction, which has shown to have a noteworthy effect on employee satisfaction. Therefore the study recommended that cyber loafing should be restricted in organization so as to enhance employee’s commitment to organization performance, which will improve his or her job satisfaction.
