Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present research is to analyze the attitudes, motivation, and preferences of representatives ofGeneration Y (Millennials) and Generation Z in the context of the modern work environment. This topic is ofparticular relevance both to academia and to human resource management practices, as these two generationsplay an increasingly important role in today’s labor market. The study involved N = 300 respondents employed inthe private sector, of whom n = 159 belong to Generation Z (born between 1997-2012), and n = 141 to GenerationY (born between 1981 and 1996). The research examines how technological innovations, social changes, andeconomic dynamics influence their engagement, work-related attitudes, and expectations toward employers. Theresults reveal significant generational differences: Generation Z shows a stronger orientation toward flexibility,digital technologies, and dynamic career paths, whereas Millennials emphasize stability, work–life balance, andorganizational culture. The findings can support the adaptation of managerial and organizational practices tobetter align with the needs and expectations of both generations.
