Summary/Abstract: The theoretical article "Personality Traits of Adolescents" is the author's attempt to present a contemporary view of adolescence by focusing on its personality characteristics. The period of adolescence is an integral part of personality development. It covers the time between childhood and adulthood, during which the adolescent's psyche must undergo a final transformation that completes the entire childhood phase. As a result, the adolescent’s behavior must be established at a certain level that allows for the individual’s further existence. During this period, significant physical as well as distinctive personality traits are observed. The adolescent comprehensively evaluates the surrounding world while mastering new social roles that also require a personal style of behavior.The text focuses on issues related to these characteristics that influence the formation of personality and the behavior of the adolescent.
