Summary/Abstract: This report explores the differential characteristics of adolescents in the context of sibling configuration. It emphasizes the role of birth order (firstborn, middle child, last-born, or only child) in shaping individual psychological traits. Various scholarly perspectives—from psychology, social sciences, and family theories—are presented to illustrate how family relationships and a child’s position among siblings can influence personality development. Each sibling position presents both advantages and challenges. The report highlights the potential psychological benefits and difficulties specific to each birth order. Its aim is to underscore the importance of family structure and intra-family dynamics as influential factors in personality development during one of the most dynamic stages of human life -adolescence.
