Summary/Abstract: The article reviews a book byRussian scholar Ekaterina Boltunova on theWarsaw coronation of Tsar Nicholas I asKing of Poland in 1829 and the memoryof the wars between Russia and Poland fromthe early seventeenth to the early nine-teenth century, published in Moscow in 2022by the Novoye Literaturnoye ObozreniyePublishers in the Historia Rossica series. Thearticle includes an extensive presentationof the book’s content and a polemic againstsome of Boltunova’s theses and her attemptto reinterpret Polish-Russian relations in thespirit of neo-imperial ideology.
