Summary/Abstract: The article considers some of the most characteristic family feasts related to the formation of the personality and its social realization. Such feasts are the birthdays and name-days which form an important part of the interpersonal relations both in the families and in the socio-professional circles, Special attention is also devoted to the feasts and rituals which mark some significant points of the social consolidation and realization of personality: enrolling in the Bulgarian People's Army (joining the army), jubilee celebrations, going on pension, etc. The author has made a profound analysis of the above-mentioned personal family feasts, their genesis, historical development and contemporary state in various regions of the country. The basic ideological-moral and emotional-artistic aspects are pointed out, as well as the contents of the feasts, which play important role for the structuring of Bulgarian feasts and ritual system. Despite the great variety of these feasts, they possess some characteristic features of Bulgarian typical feasts which have preserved some traditional moral elements throughout the years. The all-round steady spreading of these feasts among all demographic and socio-professional groups of the population plays an extremely important role for the national-consolidation processes in Bulgaria.
