Summary/Abstract: Leadership is a sociological process that mobilizes people for a common purpose and effectively directs them. In this process, leaders are not content with assigning and directing; they know their team members well and aim to increase their motivation and dedication to their work by helping them discover their talents. Our study aimed to measure the differences in the multifaceted leadership orientations of Physical Education and Sports Teachers (BESÖ) in terms of gender, age, professional seniority, and family income, and to determine the relationship between the sub-dimensions. The research group consisted of a total of 82 BESÖ teachers (43 female and 39 male) working in various schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the 2024–2025 academic year. Data were collected using the "Multifaceted Leadership Orientations Scale" (MLYO), developed by Dursun, Günay, and Yenel (2019), based on Bolman and Deal's multifaceted leadership theory, and a Personal Information Form. SPSS for Windows 26.00 was used for data analysis. Nonparametric statistical methods were used during the analysis process due to the data not showing a normal distribution. A statistically significant difference was found in favor of male participants in the structural leadership subscale based on gender (p0.05). Considering the MLYSQ subscales, male participants indicated that Turkey's patriarchal society may enhance individuals' leadership qualities. The reason for the difference may be due to the increased sense of responsibility inherent in marriage institutions. The leadership qualities of PESQs may contribute to their ability to motivate and persuade students and colleagues.
