The Lipošćak affair

Summary/Abstract: One of the main questions in the political life of the short-lived State of Slovens, Croats and Serbs was the question of its union with the Kingdom of Serbia. Numerous debates on the method of this unification anf the political organization of the future state were carried out. The former Austro-Hungrian general Anton Lipošćak was arrested under the suspicion that he had organized a conspiracy against the State of Slovens, Croats and Serbs. Still, a court proceedings was never held. In fact the whole affair was organized to discredit all those who opposed the unification with Serbia.
