Summary/Abstract: The article exhibits the relationship between the geographic space of Nieśwież in Belarus and its place in culture and literature. In doing so, it analyses letters written by Franciszka Urszula Radziwiłłowa to her husband, Michał Radziwiłł “Rybeńko”. The letters contain valid information on the region itself as well as on the most important historical events of the 18th century and the personal life of Franciszka Urszula.
