Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to the biography and literary achievements of Arnold Gahlberg, anarchist, publicist and translator of Polish literature into German and German and Yiddish literature into Polish. Gahlberg was born in 1887 in Przemyśl (then in Galicia in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy). He was a great admirer of Polish literature and translated works by Słowacki, Iwaszkiewicz, Dąbrowska and Sienkiewicz into German. The place and date of his death remain unknown.
