Summary/Abstract: In the second half of the eighteenth century, Wrocław (Breslau) was a major centre of musical life. Józef Elsner, who came to Breslau in his youth (around 1781), lists Wrocław musicians in his Sumariusz moich utworów muzycznych [A summary of my musical works], compiled many years later. The list includes such names as Knirsch, Schön, Dreyrittner, Hanisch, Holly, Maar, Lucas, Berner, Hermes, Enderle, and Hofstädter. There is no information about most of these musicians in the relevant literature. This paper provides basic biographical data about them, collected during archival research.
