SOME PROBLEMATIC ISSUES OF THE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY OF TEACHERS OF CHINESE ETHNIC VOCAL MUSIC AND WAYS TO SOLVE THEM

Summary/Abstract: The professional qualities of teachers of Chinese national vocal music are of great importance in nurturing outstanding vocal talents. The professional quality of teachers of Chinese ethnic vocal music is important for preserving and transmitting the valuable traditions of this culture, as well as for the development of the art among the new generation. The professional qualities of such teachers include deep knowledge and understanding of Chinese national vocal music, the ability to effectively convey this knowledge and skills to their students, as well as the ability to stimulate their creativity and self-expression. Such teachers should have excellent musical ear, technical mastery, and the ability to work with different types of voices. The competence of teachers of Chinese ethnic vocal music is important not only for nurturing vocal talents but also for preserving and transmitting unique cultural traditions. They play a key role in promoting and popularizing Chinese national music as part of the world musical canon, helping to preserve the history and identity of the Chinese people. The scientific research aims to enhance the level of teaching of teachers and promote the development of vocal music education by discussing the professional qualities of teachers of Chinese ethnic vocal music.Firstly, by analyzing the background and importance of Chinese ethnic vocal music education, the purpose of the study is derived. Then, the methods such as questionnaires and interviews adopted in the study are introduced, as well as the process of data collection and analysis. Furthermore, through the summary of survey results and the analysis of interview data, the current situation and problems of professional quality of Chinese ethnic vocal music teachers are revealed. Lastly, through the discussion and summary of the research results, countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve the professional quality of Chinese ethnic vocal music teachers. The research results of this paper have significant implications for optimizing the content and methods of vocal music education and have a positive impact on the cultivation of more outstanding vocal talents.
